I've been eating at this place since it first opened at the other location. You have the best lunch and breakfast food I think I've had. I say this with a touch of hesitation, because I'd hate the place to get too big, but spread the word more on the net. It's one of the best places to eat in west Michigan. I have never had a bad meal there. The chicken club omelette and dagwood sandwich are two of the best things I've had in Michigan. I've been to almost every place that serves food in west Michigan, and maybe half in the state. The quality of food is great when served. The staff is exactly what I think of when I go to a diner.

My first experience at 44th Street diner was not only delicious but a notable difference to the typical restaurant atmosphere. The staff was friendly and accomodating to every detail. The food was served hot and definately reminiscent of family homemade favorites. I will stop by the 44th Street diner every oppportunity I have to remind myself what a great meal at a fair price actually is and that it still exists today.
